AfricaConnect2 sets out to provide the African research and education communities with a gateway for global collaboration, enabling users at research centres and universities to participate in joint projects with their peers in Europe and other parts of the world.
Whilst the connectivity boost will improve the lives of millions of Africans through advanced research and education, it will equally benefit collaborative scientific research the world over in areas such as climate change, biodiversity, crop research, malaria and other infectious diseases.
More details on projects benefiting from AfricaConnect2 will be available soon.
